Daveytown Project

The Daveytown Property is located in the Slumbering Hills, Humboldt County, Nevada. The deposit is situated within the western, older, part of the Northern Nevada Rift  geologic province of Miocene age.  The placer mineralization lies within and on the alluvial fan of Daveytown Canyon.

About this Project

GeoGRAFX GIS Services (“GeoGRAFX”) was engaged by Milton Ellis Rawe Limited (“MERL”) to prepare a Technical Report for the Daveytown Placer project, Humboldt County, Nevada. The purpose of this report was to demonstrate that the historical exploration data confirm that the project merits additional exploration work to verify previously defined mineralization.

Services for this client include:

GeoGRAFX was provided with legacy data in the form of paper copies and rolled maps from the 1980s. This information was entered into a GIS database, edited and verified. All data was in local mine grid, so needed to be converted to real-world coordinates.

The resource was generated using similar techniques to confirm the origin estimates. A technical report was created for the client using the same guidelines as an NI43-101 report. (this is not an NI43-101 report as the client is not traded on the TSX.)

GeoGRAFX was retained as an expert witness in the case of High Court of Justice vs Milton Ellis Rawe Ltd. We were asked to give opinion on the Daveytown project and it’s viability. After discussion, both sides were able to agree there were no outstanding points of disagreement and the issue was resolved.
