Introduction to MapInfo Professional® / Discover® for Geologists
This two-day MapInfo Professional / Discover course will familiarize geologists with the basics of the most current version of MapInfo Professional® and Discover, a mineral exploration extension for MapInfo Professional. The course consists of a series of lectures and hands-on exercises using geological data to build maps and visualize data.
Each attendee is required to provide their own laptop with wireless internet connection and mouse. An evaluation license for both MapInfo and Discover will be provided if the attendee does not have their own license. No MapInfo Professional experience is needed. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own data sets.
This course meets the AIPG PDP Sec D continuing education requirements.
